PRODUCTION PLAN
The initial stage of development does not yet allow converging to a more assertive budget and production plan. The project is rich and can have several realization formats, only with the defined producer pool will it be possible to define approaches and consequently demands and costs. Some preliminary production notes were made with some schedule estimates and also issues identified in the project, their potential and points that need more attention.
ESTIMATED SCHEDULE:
(90 days) Pre-production and initial script: as the historical data is organized in the original script, a careful survey of the collection will help effectively be used for the series and redo confirmation of existing documentation. It must provide for the collection of documents in Paraguay, Cuba and Uruguay, these trips will also serve as land recognition.
(60 days) Team selection and adaptation of the script, inserting the facts into the narrative line that provides interactivity;
(30 days) final budget, provide for adaptations for episodes that provide characterization and season;
(60 days) Hiring of final team (particular attention to both cast and crew, with knowledge of the cultures mentioned) and equipment for recording. Cast selection (if possible with mastery of Spanish);
(60 days) Storyboarding, recording plan and shooting board;
(60 days) Pre-production art and costumes;
(60 days) recording, which can be extended to 100, if the option is to record everything without animation resources;
(90 days) Editing and quick color grade;
(10 days) approval with the channel;
(60 days) audio editing;
(10 days) approval with the channel;
(30 days) color and VFX;
(10 days) approval with the channel;
(30 days) approval, mastering and delivery of parts;
(30 days) accountability;
Estimated total schedule of 21 to 27 months.
POTENTIALS
Family member as co-author of the narrative, facilitated the hiring and assignment of rights;
Impactful history not only for the political aspects, but also for the human factors that permeate the saga;
With interactivity and transmedia resources, it is possible to use animation and illustration resources to help compose the narrative, reducing costs;
Interactivity strategies are attractive without the need for additional recordings.
ATTENTION POINTS
Many countries, dates and events to be portrayed;
High cost also in the pre-production stage, visits to countries mentioned to tech scouting and complementary document research;
Characterization of the time in events from two centuries ago, if one does not use animation and illustration resources, they can burden the project;
In the current stages the project is still dependent on the heir as content source;
Define a language policy for the project
